Midnight Sun

From Elgsnes the midnight sun looks especially great since the sunbeams are reflecting from the sea across Toppsundet. On fine midnight sun evenings, many people arrive here to look at the sun and the colors of the sky and the fjord. The midnight sun is above the horizon from May 22nd to July 21st here in Elgsnes, but if you calculate according to summertime instead of when the sun is on it's lowest point, the sun is visible already at midnight on 20th May.
