Blue Light Period

Here in Elgsnes the sun is below the horizon from 1st December to 11th January. But since there are mountains to the south, the sun is away from 14th November to 28th January. The period is called polar night. This, however, is a misnomer, as it is far from being dark all day. But the light is different, with different shades of blue as the dominant color. To catch the blue twilight, either with a camera or with paintbrush and palette can give wonderful experiences and results.
